Web and I have a pretty unique story. We met as high school kids on some day neither of us can quite remember. We were drawn to each other as friends because of how much we laughed together. We remained friends throughout high school and visited each other a few times at our colleges in different states.
Fast-forward to each of us moving to Boston after graduation and starting to carve out lives for ourselves. Then our timing aligned. Web was milling around his apartment one Wednesday night. He received a text out of the blue and was excited to make dinner plans with me for that Friday night. At the time, he wasn’t sure whether or not it was a true date, but he went into the weekend treating it that way.
I stood in front of my bedroom mirror to get ready, excited for the night to come. Web had picked a cute Italian restaurant recommended by his coworker that I had been to a few times before and had loved. Our cozy dinner went by so quickly, and our night ended with us walking down my snowy street, bundled up in our winter coats in January.
After our first few dates in January 2014, the rest is history! We started spending more and more time together and eventually moved into an apartment together in Brookline. Living together is the best thing we’ve done so far and couldn’t be more fun!
Webster proposed while we were sitting on the cliffs at Tryon Lighthouse during our visit to PEI this past August. We continue to build our life together, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
Thank you for celebrating with us on our special day!
